This is awesome! This is similar to a technique and tool used in Lean transactional and manufacturing problem solving called GEMBA (go and see) and then drawing out what the team of problem solvers saw and then drawing out what the solution is. GREAT article! Nice ideas on communication efficiency!

Its always been part of engineering. Normal people are going to think they are smart as engineers now. Of course they won't be and this is a dangerous situation. Sketching must be outlawed!
