The last couple weeks have been a thrill as the people who make year-end "best-of" lists have been selecting their favorite business books. I'm truly honored that THE BACK OF THE NAPKIN has received these accolades from the business press:
BusinessWeek: best innovation and design book, 2008
Fast Company: The best business books of the year
BNet: #4 business book of the year, based on reader votes
BusinessPundit: #4 business book of the year
That's a wonderful way to wrap-up the year. Thanks!
One of the great things about in-game money and virtual economies is that they never went through this whole economic meltdown. So take that to all of those people who think the real world is better then computer games!

Congrats on the accolades. It's well deserved. I've been a study of visual communication for 6 years. Thanks for making it simple and taking it mainstream. Here's to keeping momentum in 09...cheers!

Congratulations Dan!
Your book is now referred to as "The Book" in my house!
It sits open, dog-eared and scribbled upon, next to my drawing board and my MAC in my office. My creative work and my teaching are all the better for it!

Hi,
I have not purchased the book yet but it seems to be a wonderful read. I am especially impressed by the Flash animation based presentation that you have on your website. Visual thinking is not a new concept but your take on it is quite refreshing.

Well done Dan. Hard work well rewarded. It was the most innovative book I have come across for a very long time.
