Wow - somebody's convinced of the power of solving problems with pictures. UPS has just spent $35 million with the Martin Agency to launch a new ad campaign featuring a guy drawing pictures on a whiteboard. I like that.
According to company press releases, the ""UPS Whiteboard" is the biggest shift in brown's advertising since 2002.
The ads are nicely done, and I agree with UPS's explanation that " 'Whiteboard' - though the use of a no-nonsense, simple graphic approach - boils down the highly complex nature of UPS's global delivery, supply chain, technology and other services."
Watching the ads, I kept wondering who was the guy doing all the drawing. It didn't seem likely that any old actor could be doing all that sketching. It turns out that after The Martin Agency looked at 1,000 potential actors, they decided to use their own creative director, Andy Azula.
How come he doesn't have to wear brown?
Hi. I have a heartshaped face, and today i'm getting my haircut. I was wondering if anyone could tell me some good ways to get it cut and give me some links of pictures. well please help! thanks in advance.

Andy Azula is HOT!
And NO, he does not need a haircut.
All that beautiful hair, makes him even more gorgeous!
One more thing, is he single?

Sounds like some disgruntled UPS customers have commented before me.
I find the "Whiteboard" ads to be very effective. They dont make Andy Azula (the guy drawing) wear brown clothes because they want him to appeal to his target audience; managers, top executives, and anyone else that is higher up then a manual labor woreker like UPS truck drivers. Its basic marketing. Maybe you all should go to school and learn a thing or two about that before you start writing. Plus, I'm farily confident in saying that UPS wouldn't have spent millions on this "Whiteboard" idea if it didn't pass the various focus group tests they put the concept through...
FEDEX is also good by the way, I'm not biased. I don't prefer either for all you nay sayers.
