My agent Ted stopped by the offices of Penguin Portfolio in NY yesterday to update them on my book's progress (one week to manuscript completion). While Ted chatted with Branda (Editorial Assistant and Assistant to publisher Adrian Zackheim), she shared with him the napkin sketches she had herself created for the introduction of "The Back of the Napkin" to Penguin's sales team.
It turns out that Branda isn't only an insightful editor, Cartesian poet, and MFA writer, she's also a natural-born napkin master. What more could an author on a book about visual thinking I ask for? Her napkins are better than my own! Thanks Branda -- and get some rest this long weekend: all my chapters are arriving soon!
PS -- where'd you get napkins with such a lovely plaid?
